There are styles that follow trends — and then there are silhouettes that shape history.

Inspired by the iconic sophistication of the 1940s and ’50s. Impeccably tailored. Gracefully bold. From day wear, hats and suits to sequins and silk dresses. Every look is a bespoke ode to femininity and hand-crafted just for you. 

It is recommended to book as early as possible to secure your spot in the manufacturing schedule. Commission spots are limited per year, so even if your occasion is months away, it can happen that all spots for this time-frame are taken already if not booked early enough.

Please kindly note, that PRETTIE LANES does not offer: 

• Pure vintage replications (copies).

• Bridal fashions. 

• Styles other than 1940s, 1950s to early 1960s. 

Each look is designed as a one-of-a-kind. The design created and owned by PRETTIE LANES might be reproduced for other clients, yet never in the same material choice and color. Your garment remains a unique combination of material and colorway. A promise - not a marketing stunt.

PRICE LIST

Prices shown reflect the full and fixed price per category and fabric group (no extra charges). Once your order is placed, your paid deposit of 50% will secure your place in line. The remaining balance will be invoiced once your full design was discussed and all final materials were chosen. Specific ensembles (i.e. dress plus overcoat) or categories not listed are subject to individual pricing - just get in touch.

True vintage fashions, photographies, textiles & more are always welcome as a beautiful inspiration.

TWO WAYS TO COMMISSION A DESIGN

(1) You know the work of PRETTIE LANES already and feel it is the perfect match to your vision?

Choose your category and get your name on the commission manufacturing schedule by directly ordering from the above list. Please bear in mind the turnaround times stated and the "not offered" services mentioned.

(2) Not sure whether your vision can be brought to life?

Contact PRETTIE LANES upfront to explore the possibilities of a custom commission and your dream look. A consultation fee of 69,-CHF applies.

After your deposit secured your place in line, the creative process starts. Besides multiple email consultations, your bespoke commission order includes:

• 2 design sketches created by PRETTIE LANES to choose from (sent to you by email), taking into consideration all the details and wishes you mentioned during the consultation and listing all features of the looks in detail

• a choice of materials/fabrics matching your chosen category and ideas

• if applicable: adjustments to your chosen design to meet your wishes after review

• if applicable: adjustments to the material/ additional fabric choices after review

• your bespoke pattern is then created and your look is custom tailored to your measurements

Once agreed upon your design, materials and details, the remaining balance is invoiced (deposit will be deducted from the amount due).

Adjusting and modifying the initial design sketches is always possible during the design process. A close communication with you is key and prioritizing your wishes, while keeping the signature PRETTIE LANES look and feel is the primary goal to create your dream garment together.

If you are unsure about a look you have in mind, please get in touch previously to ordering.

Manufacturing times, including the design process, depend on your time schedule, due/event date, material and chosen style but are regularly between 8-12 weeks. You will receive a more defined time schedule after confirming your custom final design.

Please refer to the prices in the price list above. If you wish to commission a garment or accessory outside of the categories listed, please contact PRETTIE LANES for an individual rate. 

Prices stated in the list are the full price all included. The 50% first payment/deposit includes a 20% non-refundable retainer & consultation fee. 

The remaining balance will be invoiced after you chose your final design/material/color/details.
