The in-house Couture Atelier by PRETTIE LANES offers luxury, bespoke formal Red Carpet & Evening gowns. 

Ethically tailored to your measurements in Switzerland, your gown will be custom designed for you and manufactured using finest vintage couture sewing and construction techniques - just like it was done back in the 1940s & 1950s.

Your look will feature everything you love about true midcentury couture. A built-in corset or corselette for internal structure, a matching handmade crinoline or petticoat to enhance your silhouette and those little couture details, like waist and bra stays as well as an outstanding amount of hand-stitching - a finish and luxury component signature to couture.

A well work ethic is of highest value at PRETTIE LANES and that is why true vintage designer’s couture will not be replicated at any time. In its nature of being pieces of art, vintage couture gowns may serve as a legit inspiration for your very own, individual gown, yet never as a blueprint. In line with this principle, PRETTIE LANES keeps your own commission exclusive. 

Prices are calculated individually, depending on the design, manufacturing time & materials used. Gowns from the PRETTIE LANES Couture Atelier are investment pieces for a life time - pieces you hand down for generations. 

Bespoke Couture gowns start at around 2900,00 CHF. If you wish to commission your very own piece, just get in touch for a first consultation and please include the following key information in the contact form below:

• Your desired delivery date of your look (or the date of the event you intent to wear your gown)

• Your overall budget

• General preferences or wishes you have in mind  about your dream gown (era, style, material, colors, silhouette etc)

Following this first Message from you and informing you about the general options, an in depth consultation will be arranged, in order to work on the details of your commission (Consultation fee: 69,-CHF).

After this in depth consultation, a retainer will secure your spot in the manufacturing schedule. Having discussed your exclusive design in the final version with all materials chosen, the official commission contract alongside your final invoice will be sent to you. Payments are arranged individually with various payment plans being available.

Moving on, your dream gown, we created together, will come to life based on your body measurements (detailed measurement form will be sent to you with photos and instructions) and 2-3 in-person fittings included. If you are an international client, a test/prototype of your bespoke gown will be shipped to you for a local fitting with instructions on how to fit correctly. With your feedback and the return of the test garment, your bespoke pattern will then be adjusted accordingly and serves as the base for your final gown.

Couture commission spots are limited per year and manufacturing times range between 8 weeks and 3 months or more. So it is best to get in touch with me as early as possible to create your very own dream gown together.
