The in-house Couture Atelier by PRETTIE LANES offers luxury, bespoke formal Red Carpet & Evening gowns. Ethically tailored to your measurements in Switzerland, your gown will be custom designed for you and manufactured using finest vintage couture sewing and construction techniques - just like it was done back in the 1940s & 1950s.

A gown no-one else in the world owns - a luxury that was designed especially for you and will never be replicated. Each commission comes with a certificate of authenticity and a professional garment bag for storage and protection. Maintaining discretion at all levels, bespoke designs are not marketed publicly in full view unless confirmed by the client - all eyes on YOU and your unique look!
design
Your look will feature everything you love about true midcentury couture. A built-in corset, a matching handmade crinoline or petticoat, all those little details such as metal zippers, hooks and eyes, waist and bra stays and an outstanding amount of hand-stitching may only serve as a few examples of luxury components that make up your very own couture gown.
A well work ethic is of highest value at PRETTIE LANES and that is why true vintage designer’s couture will not be replicated at any time. Vintage couture gowns in its nature of being pieces of art may serve as a wonderful and legit inspiration for your very own, individual gown, yet never as a blueprint. In line with this principle, PRETTIE LANES keeps your own commissioned look exclusive and does not replicate it.
price & time frame
Prices are calculated individually, depending on the design, manufacturing time & materials used and on average start at around 2300,-CHF. After you get in touch with key data and preferences to generally assess possibilities, an in depth consultation will be arranged (Consultation fee: 69,-CHF. Will be deducted from your final invoice if you commission your gown at PRETTIE LANES).
Once we move on discussing your dream gown, a deposit payment is invoiced to secure your spot in the manufacturing schedule. After having discussed your exclusive design and agreed upon all details, the official commission contract alongside your final invoice will be sent to you. Payments are arranged individually with various payment plans being available.
Couture commission spots are limited per year and manufacturing times range between 12 weeks and 6 months.
