The big pintucks sewn all-around (front and back) the waist and skirt part, together with the three delicate front bows create a wonderful seamless transition between the bodice and skirt. Create beautiful romantic day looks by adding a casual cardigan, floral scarf or a wide brim hat. Or glam up the dress by adding jewelry, floral accessories & cocktail hats.

The sample photographed was manufactured in 2024 with a fabric that was suddenly discontinued by the supplier, resulting in this model never launching. Until now! The new fabric is the same colorway with only a slight difference in the embroidery pattern. Please refer to the original fabric photo that shows the material you are ordering.

As a PRETTIE LANES original, you can find signature Mid-Century authentic details, such as a lapped metal zipper (center back),  true to era seam finishing and genuinely hand-stitched details inside the dress - a couture finish typical for the fashion of the 1940s.

Professional dry clean or gentle hand wash 30°C.  Do not bleach or tumble dry. Dry laying flat or over waist seam to prevent shoulder distortions due to the weight of the dress. Iron/steam medium heat. Always hand wash with the zipper closed.
