Stripes of florals and leaves... Lovely Day Dress made of a heavy-weight Cotton-blend fabric in beautiful shades of Soft Yellow, Blue. and brownish Grey on an Off-White ground (most accurate color shown in 3rd photo). You can order this dress separately or as a ensemble version including the jacket.

The dress features thin shoulder straps with a small decorative bow, waist and bust darts as well as a hand-pleated skirt section. It closes with a back, lapped, metal zipper. Unlined (fabric is opaque so undergarments are not mandatory). Matching belt included, hand-crochet belt loops. Authentic invisibly sewn hems. Hidden side pockets on request (choose from "customization" drop down)..

Classic midi length (see sizing table) or custom length (Free of charge 0,00CHF). Dress shown without(!) a petticoat. It is recommended to wear this dress with a straplass bra.

Pair this dress with its matching cropped, open style bolero jacket with contrasting collar and cuffs for your perfect ensemble look. The jacket is lined, made of a lightweight fabric that matches one of the Blue shades of the dress (on the photos it looks a little darker but it’s the same shade) and has an overall cropped length to create a classic mid-century silhouette (around 6cm shorter than waist-line). 

Color-wise the hats "Paris Gardens 1949" in Blue and "Midsummer" in Wheat are perfect additions to this ensemble.

Dress 98% Cotton, 2% Elasthan*. Unlined.

Bolero: 80% Wool, 20% Cotton. Lined partially in Dress fabric & Tencel.

Professional dry clean or gentle handwash. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron/steam medium heat. Let fully dry after steaming. Always wash with zipper closed. Handwash with colors alike.

*Transparency note:

Prettie Lanes is not making any use of elastic fibers since 2017. This fabric however was sourced in 2016 and stored in the archives ever since. Gradually destocking the fabric archives had left two major options - using the fabric or letting it go to waste. Avoiding waste is essential in the fashion industry and that is why Prettie Lanes decided to use the fabric and turn it into something beautiful even though it may not fully cover todays sourcing policies of this company. The fabric itself is in perfect condition.
