Stroll around Paris Gardens in 1949! An elegant and versatile hat - a staple for your Summer wardrobe.

Made out of a beautiful airy woven, natural material with a decent Velvet bow in either the front or in the back.

Hand - blocked on a true vintage 1940s wooden hat block, this stiffened, lightweight hat features a true to era curved edge, a fully wired brim, a Velvet bow hand-sewn to the top, a sewn in sweatband and a shallow/flat crown, typical for the New Look and 1950s decade.

Worn straight or angled, centered or towards the back of your head - whatever style you prefer. 

Please note: The hat is designed to be shorter in the back and longer in the front. So back and front of the hat cannot be swapped. Please choose your preference of a front or back bow which will be hand-sewn to your hat.

The hat comes with a hat elastic and a metal comb attached on the inner front - especially useful to keep it in place when wearing it on the back-head ('halo' style) as the comb anchors the hat in your hair at any weathers and the hat elastic adds even more security.

Storage recommendation: Colored Straw hats are best stored in a box (you could use the shipping box) to prevent the colors from fading through constant sunlight and to keep the hat stiff over the years (away from too much moisture).
