Beautiful Straw hat in Strawberry Red color. This hat can be worn straight in a New Look style or on the back-head as a "halo" hat. It features a crisp edge as well as a small decorative Velvet bow at the crown that is carefully hand-stitched to the top. 

Era typical flat crown that prolongs below the hat (fully wired and covered in soft Velvet for comfort) and keeping it perfectly in place. Due to the wire, the hat size can slightly be adjusted by bending the sides inside or outside, making it smaller, respectively larger (best however for head sizes up to 55/56cm only).

To guarantee extra strong hold, a wide metal comb is hand-sewn to the inner front side of the crown literally anchoring the hat down at any weathers.

Storage recommendation: Colored Straw hats are best stored in a box (you could use the shipping box) to prevent the colors from fading through constant sunlight and to keep the hat stiff over the years (away from too much moisture).
