Buttery, creamy Yellow Cardigan Jacket made from the softest, coziest, heavy weight Cotton fabric. Perfect alternative for everyone who has a hard time wearing Wool, is allergic or vegan.

The open style jacket features a rounded collar, a faux button closure (metal snap button closure underneath), decorative stitches along the front and hem, a deep neckline pleat in the front and a slight below waist length. The classic dolman sleeves feature illusion double cuffs.

This waist-fitted jacket embraces the look of a cozy cardigan, while still featuring a lining inside (no stretch). Add the matching beret made from the same fabric to create your perfect ensemble - for any colder season. If you wish to achieve a more 1940s vibe - feel free to view the Cardigan Jacket "1946" which is made from the same fabric (shown in last photo).

Please note that the mannequin is sized XS and wears the cardigan in an un-pinned size M, so it appears slightly bigger.

Professional clean or gentle handwash 30°C. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Best to steam or iron low heat.

S I Z E  &  F I T

The upper fabric has natural stretch due to its weave and hence this jacket is slightly stretchy at the sleeve cuffs. However, the jacket is fully lined in un-stretchy fabric, so the bodice and sleeves do not stretch!  Please note: The measurements stated in the table below are the measurements of the finished garment.

Which size to choose depends on whether your prefer a more loose or close fit. The curved hem at the waist, design allows for slightly variable waist sizing - so if you are in between sizes, you can size down as long as the bust still fits. If you are a returning client, you can choose your regular Prettie Lanes size and the jacket will just fit right.
