DO YOU OFFER EXCLUSIVE ONE-OF-A-KIND DESIGNS ?
Yes. Custom designs in the field of vintage inspired 40s to 50s wear are welcome. The in-house design and manufacturing process allow for customization. This customization can be provided on three different levels:
(I) a customized version of an existing design (i.e. individual fabric choice, individual modifications)
(II) a design newly created, non-exclusive (means the design can be reproduced for other clients too)
(III) and a design newly created, exclusive (a one-of-a-kind design dedicated to one client only, no reproduction for other clients)
Please note that one-of-a-kind capacities are limited. If you have a special event please make sure you inquire for a custom design as early as possible.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM DAY WEAR ?
No. The couture brand "Franziska Schlupski" is specialized in dreamy gowns and only manufactures in the field of evening wear and special occasion wear. For vintage inspired day wear, please have a look at the in-house day-wear brand Prettie Lanes here at the shop.
HOW DO I ORDER ?
Simply get in touch by email and start a conversation. Please find the pricelist for the existing collection here. A more general price orientation you can find here. Ideally, in your email you already include the design you would like to order and if applicable (for custom pieces) some key facts about your fabric-, cut- & color preferences, your budget and your time frame. Inspiration photographies are welcome yet please understand that no copies/reproductions of vintage garments are offered at any time. Your very own dream dress is only one email away ...
For regular designs:
After confirming the price and details, a Paypal invoice will be sent to you. After payment, your order will be manufactured usually within 12-14 weeks (rush orders on request) and sent to you tracked and insured.
For custom inquiries:
Inquiries and first discussions are of course always free of charge. Fees are charged first during the "creation/design process".
After having discussed everything and agreed upon a price/quote for your order, you will be charged a fee of 10%-30% of the final price as a non-refundable deposit* for your order. Then the further design process starts. You will receive 1-2 sketches/designs, repsectively a selection of fabrics individually created/sourced according to your preferences. This process is a dialogue and PRETTIE LANES wishes to fulfill your dreams to the fullest while still keeping the signature brand style, so adaptions and modifications are always possible within the set budget.
As soon as the final design is set, a Paypal invoice with the remaining amount will be sent to you. After payment, your order will be manufactured usually within 12-14 weeks (rush orders on request) and sent to you tracked and insured.
* The desposit made is non-refundable and covers the costs of sourcing materials/samples, sketching, designing a creation during the "design/creation process" etc. . If a custom order is cancelled by the client at this "creation process" stage (no cancellation possible during "manufacturing process"), the client gets the payment made minus this initial deposit paid refunded. Please note, with a deposit, no sketches or designs are purchased. Sketches and Designs are copyrighted and property of this company.
WHAT IS YOUR REGULAR TURNAROUND TIME ?
Couture pieces are usually created within 8-14 weeks depending on the design and complexity. Rush orders might be possible for an extra fee depending on the overall time schedule.
